Hello. Somehow I have found my way to this blog. I have had trouble locating it. I am on the I Pad now. I am excited about sharing recipes with family. I actually do more experimenting with ingredients than I follow actual recipes. We eat a lot of soup and I combine leftovers to make my soup. Every batch of soup I make is different from the last batch. I also like making quick breads. I find omelets are easy to prepare when I am tired. I love pizza. Nothing beats the taste of homemade pizza. I hope someone shares a veggie burger recipe. I do not consistently make good veggie burgers.
I will share a simple cake recipe. One of my nieces shared it with me.
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 eggs
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice
1 cup pecans
Icing:
1 8 ounce package cream cheese
1 stick butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cake:
Mix together sugar, flour, eggs, baking soda, crushed pineapple and pecans.
Pour into greased 9X13” pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Icing:
Cream cream cheese and butter.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
Frost cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
Is this you Honor you are listed as first recipe. I'm not sure why you come up under unknown blogger.
ReplyDeleteHonor, this sounds so yummy! The flavors of the pineapple and the buttercream icing sounds so delicious!! I want to try out the recipe this fall/winter when it's cool enough to turn on my oven and not heat up the house. Thank you for sharing!
